A summary of recent criminal activity in Girard, Hubbard and Liberty:
GIRARD
May 2
Menacing: A Girard woman said someone left a threatening online message directed at her son.
Counterfeit: A fake $20 bill was passed at Espresso Market, 143 E. Liberty St.
Aggravated menacing: A North St. Clair Avenue woman reported a threatening Facebook message.
Aggravated menacing: A charge was pending against a man who two Skoplee Drive residents alleged had threatened them with a hammer. The man also used a hammer to strike a side of a nearby residence, police said.
Recovered property: A worker for an excavating company found stolen 1-inch copper wiring in a recycling bin on North Ward Avenue.
May 3
Burglary: To an apartment in the 500 block of Church Hill Road via a kitchen window. An Xbox game system and various hygiene items were missing.
Burglary: Took place in the 300 block of Iowa Avenue, apparently through the front door. An Xbox system was missing.
Arrest: A 16-year-old Girard boy was taken into custody during a disturbance in the 600 block of Trumbull Avenue after his mother alleged the teen had terrorized her and another child, and damaged part of the residence. The boy also struggled with police, they said.
Menacing: A Morris Avenue man reported getting a threatening cellphone message.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of her son’s $300 cellphone at Girard High School, 1244 Shannon Road.
May 4
Menacing: A Church Hill Road man said someone made a threatening call to him.

April 29
Drugs: Police issued a summons to Aaron DeJohn, 3602 Evergreen Road, Pulaski, Pa., after saying he handed them a suspected marijuana cigarette during a traffic stop near Creed Street.
Theft: An official with Hubbard High School, 350 Hall Ave., reported the theft of a coat.
April 30
Attempted theft: A worker for Dollar General, 886 W. Liberty St., said a man tried to return an item he had never paid for.
Menacing: Police responded to an argument between two drivers near South Main and Clingan streets.
Menacing: A township man said he was threatened while in the 800 block of West Liberty Street.
May 2
Theft of services: A worker with Hubbard Laundromat, 365 W. Liberty St., noticed someone without permission had filled a trash bin with discarded items.
May 3
Criminal mischief: Several vehicles sustained broken windows at a North Main Street business.
Assault: A man reported having been assaulted during a party at a Jerry Drive residence.
May 4
Possible burglary: A woman in the 700 block of Dresden Drive reported thinking she heard someone in her living room, though police found no one inside.
Threats: A Warren woman called 911 from the 80 block of Oak Knoll Drive to say her estranged husband had sent threatening text messages.
LIBERTY
April 27
Arrest: Police took into custody 50-year-old Tod W. Shall, 843 Cambridge Ave., Youngstown, during a traffic stop near Mansell Drive. He was wanted on charges of failure to appear in court and driving under suspension.
Breaking and entering: An elderly Roosevelt Drive man discovered personal papers missing from his residence he believed someone had entered, though police found no signs of forced entry.
Drugs: Officers stopped a vehicle near state Route 711, where they arrested Brad C. Rosen, 26, of 5000 Corey Hunt Road, Bristolville, and Robert C. Jack, 28, of 1669 Timber Court, Niles, on drug-related charges. Hypodermic needles, along with a substance in a cigarette pack that tested positive for heroin, were found, police said.
April 28
Theft: A man stole four hair clippers from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 2704 Belmont Ave.
Arrest: Authorities responding to threats in the 1600 block of Wilson Avenue arrested Kevin S. Howell, 29, of 1639 Wilson, Girard, after learning Howell was wanted by Stark County authorities on a breaking-and-entering charge.
Menacing: An official with Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave., told police an elderly man threatened him after the accuser said the man had tried to steal a newspaper.
April 29
Drugs: Officers pulled over a motorist near Youngstown-Hubbard Road before charging 30-year-old Amadi D. Morris, 2450 Willow Drive, Warren, with trafficking in marijuana, drug possession, driving under suspension, and possession of dangerous drugs. A police dog discovered a bag containing four 1-pound bags of suspected marijuana, two pill bottles and a large number of pills thought to be Ecstasy, a report said.
Menacing: A woman said a man threatened her at a Goldie Road business.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle in the 20 block of Marla Lane was found with two slashed tires.
Criminal damaging: All of a car’s tires were slashed in the 20 block of Kris Lane.
Menacing: Three people caused a scene and threatened two workers at a Belmont Avenue fast-food restaurant.
April 30
Arrest: Police responding to a neighborhood dispute in the 100 block of Mansell Drive took into custody 58-year-old Wesley L. Trammell, 7029 Mill Creek Blvd., Youngstown, on a warrant from the city.
May 1
Drugs: Colleen Hake, 25, of 3519 Ridgelawn Ave., Warren, faced charges of child endangerment, as well as possession of heroin, drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia, during a traffic stop near Gypsy Lane. Found in the vehicle were a hypodermic needle in a coffee cup within a child’s reach and a syringe with a liquid consistent with heroin, a report showed.
Theft: A Columbus woman reported her cellphone stolen at a Belmont Avenue motel.
May 2
Aggravated menacing: A Warner Road man reported a caller threatened to harm him.
Harassment: An employee with Cleveland Auto Wrecking Co. Inc., 2700 Youngstown-Hubbard Road, reported receiving a series of unwanted and harassing calls.
Arrest: Authorities took 22-year-old Tanisha H. Zeigler-Comer, 2510 Ohio Ave., Youngstown, into custody during a disturbance in the 3600 block of Belmont Avenue. Zeigler-Comer was wanted on a probation-violation charge.
May 3
Theft: Two bottles of medications were stolen from a home in the 400 block of Montrose Street.
