A pedestrian was treated for minor injuries after a two-car crash on the South Side.

A man standing in a front yard jumped away from an oncoming vehicle at the corner of Mabel and Gibson streets, hitting his head on the pavement Thursday night, according to 21 WFMJ-TV, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner.

He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

It is unknown whether police cited either driver.
