Angela Lauren Speece and Paolo Morra, both of Houston, are engaged and planning a June wedding, her parents announce.

She is the daughter of William and Robin (Costarella) Speece of North Jackson, and he is the son of Enrico and Liana (Lattanzi) Morra of Rome, Italy.

The couple have planned to exchange vows in a noon ceremony June 18 at Chigi Palace in Ariccia (Rome). A reception will follow at Villa Tuscolana in Frascati (Rome). Invitations are being extended for both occasions.

The bride-elect earned bachelor’s degrees in art education and fine arts from Youngstown State University, and she earned a master’s degree in fine arts from Tufts University School of the Museum of Fine Arts.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from La Sapienza University in Rome and a master’s degree in nuclear engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and is employed by McKinsey & Co. in Houston as a consultant.
