YSU opener against Michigan State moved to Friday

The Youngstown State football team will open its 2011 football season on Friday, Sept. 2 at Michigan State.

The game was originally scheduled for Sept. 3 but the Big Ten opted to move the game back one day. Kickoff for the contest will be 7:30 p.m. at Spartan Stadium in a game that will be televised by the Big Ten Network and carried on 570 WKBN.
