The YWCA of Youngstown’s fourth annual Women’s Leadership Conference is June 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Youngstown Country Club, 1402 Country Club Drive. Septic-system letters

The Mahoning County District Board of Health is sending letters to 487 septic-system owners in Jackson Township reminding them to have their systems pumped if it has been within the past three years. There is no law requiring homeowners to get their septic tanks pumped, but regular maintenance can help avoid expensive repair costs, said Matthew Stefanak, health commissioner. Red Cross classes

First-aid training is May 15 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. and the cost is $35. The offering number is 00656207.

A class on “CPR/AED for Health Care Professionals” includes one-person and two-person CPR for infants, children and adults; rescue breathing for infants and children; use of pocket mask and bag-valve mask; and AED for adults and children. The class meets from 5:30 to 10 p.m. May 17 and 19 at 8381 Market St. The cost is $70. Both sessions are required for certification. The offering number is 00662269.
