William Exline, 31, of East Broadway allegedly threatened a relative and neighbor on Skoplee Street with a hammer then fled in an incident at 7:45 p.m. Monday. A warrant was issued for his arrest on a charge of aggravated menacing.
Drug charges

Police charged Amadi D. Morris, 30, of the 2400 block of Willow Drive, Warren, with trafficking in drugs-marijuana, drug abuse, pharmacist possession of drugs and driving under suspension after a traffic stop about 8 p.m. Friday on Logangate and Youngstown-Hubbard roads.
In the trunk, police found a large white bag containing four pounds of suspected marijuana in four separate 1-pound packages. They also found almost 300 pills. Morris was taken to Trumbull County Jail. He appeared Monday in Girard Municipal Court. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. May 18.
House fire
SHARPSVILLE, PA.
Members of a South Pymatuning Township family in Mercer County, Pa., escaped unharmed when a fire damaged their home at 3467 Saranac Drive on Tuesday evening. The fire, discovered by a passer-by, was reported about 6:30 p.m. The Mercer County 911 Center said firefighters were still at the scene at 8 p.m., and that neither the cause nor the amount of damage had been determined.
