Today is the deadline for our Mother's Day Contest

MOTHER KNOWS BEST

Among the many roles of a mother — housekeeper, short-order cook, chauffeur, nurse — that of teacher is one of the most important, yet often the least appreciated.

Daughters, think about the one thing your mom taught you that, although you may not have agreed with at the time, you’ve found to be the most helpful in your life.

Send us a brief note about it, and include your favorite picture of you with your mom. We'll also need both of your names, cities of residence and your telephone number.

All submissions will be eligible for a drawing for a $100 gift certificate for dinner at Bruno’s Restaurant, U.S. Route 224, Boardman.

The winner will appear in our Mother’s Day edition on May 8. All submissions will be posted online at www.vindy.com.

The deadline is Wednesday.
