The city school board has narrowed to three the list of candidates for superintendent.: Tony Meinerding, former superintendent of Holgate, Ohio, Local Schools; Thomas Gay, chief executive officer of the Quality Schools Group; and Mark Robinson, superintendent of Ashland City Schools.

Superintendent Rocco Adduci is retiring July 31.

“We are doing our best to find someone who understands our community and who can lead us toward higher levels of achievement and through this next huge phase of our school building project,” said Marlene Rhodes, board president.
