In the opener, Kyle Hickman hit a two-run homer for the Tigers. Curt Kuszmall had a double while winning pitcher Chris Maze struck out 10. For the Spartans, David DiBernardi doubled and Joey Markovitch had a two-run single. In the second game, Nico DiIanni hit a two-run double for the Spartans while Marke Leone had a two-run single. Winning pitcher Mike Witte struck out four batters in four innings. For the Tigers, Hickman hit a solo homer and Josh Davis doubled.
