ELECTION UPDATE: Mahoning County levies losing


YOUNGSTOWN — With results of early voters in, several levies are losing, including the Poland Schools new 4.9-mill and its 3.6-mill renewal levies, an additional 6.8-mill Canfield School levy, a 1-mill Western Reserve Joint Fire District additional levy, and a 2-mill renewal levy in Poland Township.

Early results also show incumbent Youngstown Councilman Paul Drennen, D-5th, with a small lead over five challengers. In second place is former Councilman Michael R. Rapovy. In the 4th Ward, there is a tie between incumbent Mike Ray and challenger Milan Zordich.
