Barry-Hodros Florida wedding set for June 17

Michele Barry and George Barry, both of Boardman, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Debra Barry of Wesley Chapel, Fla., and Zachary Hodros, also of Wesley Chapel, a son of Michael and Mara Hodros of New Middletown.

Davis Islands Garden Club in Tampa will be the setting June 17 as the couple are united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. and as they are honored during a reception. Invitations will be issued for both.

The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in elementary education. She is a first-grade teacher with Pasco County Schools in Florida.

The future groom served with the U.S. Army Infantry Division for 51/2 years after graduating from Baldwin Wallace College with a degree in secondary education. He is a drivers education teacher with Pasco County Schools and is pursuing a degree in accounting at the University of South Florida.
