55 Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church, 3504 Main St. Hostesses will be Stella Modorcia and Mary Alice Seaborn. Members will dine out after the meeting.

1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Brownstone Court with John Texter presiding. Cancellations are required by Monday with Sandy Redeske at 330-755-5192. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day will be observed, birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and cards and bingo will be played. Refreshments will be served. Illnesses or deaths should be reported to Pat Bozichovich at 330-755-7552.

AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church, where blood pressure screenings will be available from noon to 12:45 p.m. Entertainment will be by Canfield Middle School Band. Reservations for the July 11 luncheon at A La Cart in Canfield can be made at the meeting or by calling Mary Lou Korenich at 330-533-3528. Reservations will be accepted at 330-332-4791 for a May 24 and 25 mystery trip, and for the “Jersey Boys” musical June 23 in Cleveland. Make reservations at 330-533-4413 for an 11-day trip Aug. 3 to 13 to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. The board will meet at 10 a.m. May 16 at the church.

Ajax Magnethermic Retirees will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Station Square, 4250 Belmont Ave., Guests are welcome.

GE IUE-CWA LOCAL 722 Retirees will have a social and informational luncheon at 11 a.m. May 24 at Local 717 Union Hall, 2950 Sferra Ave., Warren. Reservations are to be made by May 17 with Wanda Williamson at 330-898-5578.

Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet at noon Friday in the conference room at Lowellville City Hall. Ernie Ciarniello will preside. A sausage-sandwich lunch will be provided by Phyllis Nolfe of Gianna’s Catering. Reservations or cancellations are to be made with Janet Davanzo at 330-793-3176. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. Anyone over 55 is invited to join the group. Dues are $5. Items will be collected for a gift basket for shut-in members. Mahoning Retired Teachers Association will meet May 11 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St., Boardman. After the 11 a.m. social, lunch will be served at 11:45. Sally Winsen will conduct the annual In-Memoriam, Martha Lopez, the In-Remembrance, and JoAnn Ellis will recognize members 90 and older. Karen Butt, president of ORTA, will be the speaker, and nonperishable items, current magazines and paperback books will be collected. All area retired teachers are welcome. Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Barbara Burnside will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. St. Nicholas Senior Citizens will have a luncheon meeting at 11 a.m. May 10 in the Great Hall with Laverne Cox presiding. Reservations are required and can be made until Wednesday by sending a check for $8, payable to St. Nicholas Seniors, to Lora Opsitnik, 138 Iroquois St., Struthers, OH 44471. Membership dues of $5 are now payable. All senior citizens are welcome to join.

Sts. Cyril and Methodius Seniors will meet May 12 in the social hall, 252 E. Wood St., after the 11:30 a.m. Mass. Lunch will be served at noon, birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged and bingo will be played. Reservations are required by May 10 and can be made with Jack Ziemianski at 330-782-1848. Trumbull Memorial Hospital Retiree Club will have a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. May 9 at Buena Vista Caf in Warren. A program on hearing care will be presented by Rebecca Donchess, audiologist at Youngstown Hearing and Speech Center. A free hearing screening will be available. Club officers will be elected. All TMH retirees are welcome.
