Pawliks observe anniversary at family dinner

AUSTINTOWN

Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Pawlik Sr. of Austintown were honored by their family as they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a dinner April 23 at Davidson’s Restaurant in Canfield.

Hosting the event were the couple’s children, Bernadette (Dennis) Lepowsky of Greenford, Ohio; Janette (James) Haag and Edward J. Pawlik Jr., both of Delaware Ohio; and Paulette (Larry) Lay of Fort Wayne, Ind. There are seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren in the family.

The former Dorothy Manley and Mr. Pawlik were married April 21, 1951, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Youngstown.

Mr. Pawlik served with the U.S. Air Force. He was employed in construction with A.P. O’Horo Construction Co., Youngstown, and then by the Village of Lordstown, where he retired as street commissioner in 1985.

Mrs. Pawlik is a homemaker.
