Free tasting offered for World Trade Day

VILLA MARIA, PA.

Villa Maria Conference Center at Villa Maria Community Center on Evergreen Road will be the setting from noon to 4 p.m. May 14 for a celebration of World Fair Trade Day.

Activities will begin with tastings of free Fair Trade chocolate, coffee and organic teas and samples provided by Theo Chocolate, Green Mountain and Equal Exchange. Raw and organic sugar and honey will be provided by Wholesome Sweeteners to complement the beverages. A style show will highlight fashions from Women of the Cloud Forest, Avatar, Trendz, Unique Batik and Upavim.

There will be raffles, an exhibit of art and poetry by El Salvador Children and items from around the world will be available for purchase.
