Cops: Man kills wife, then self

COLUMBUS

Police in Columbus say a man killed himself after fatally shooting his wife, and one of their children called 911.

Homicide Detective Dana Croom tells The Columbus Dispatch police were interviewing the couple’s 13-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter after the shooting early Saturday. Croom said the couple also has a 22-year-old son.

The shooting stunned other residents in the neighborhood, and Croom did not comment on a possible motive. The newspaper reports neighbors and relatives said the family seemed fine Friday.
