An “Eight Bloomin’ Days Only” flower show will be sponsored by Northeast Ohio Adoption Services to raise funds to help NOAS recruit and develop adoptive families.

Warren community volunteers will conduct the Mother’s Day weekend sale from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day from May 4 through May 11 at Hunter’s Square Plaza, 8799 E. Market St., two blocks east of Route 46 on old Route 82.

Available will be selected flats of annuals for the garden, perennials and herbs, hanging baskets, Mother’s Day gift baskets and potted arrangements.

Gere Weller of Liberty and Janet Weller of Canfield, cochairwomen for the event, are accepting special requests for plants or arrangements at 330-856-5582 before Mother’s day.

Any person or organization interested in volunteering to assist with the event should call the same number to schedule a time for volunteering to arrange or to water and care for the plants.

Since 1978 NOAS has developed families for more than 1,200 children. The organization offers free preplacement classes for adoption or foster caregivers and does not charge a fee to families for adoption.
