New Amici Trio presents free concert Friday at YSU's Bliss Hall

YOUNGSTOWN — The New Amici Trio will present a free concert at 8 p.m. Friday in the recital hall in Youngstown State University's Bliss Hall, Wick Avenue.

The concert will include Haydn’s “Gypsy Rondo” and the Tchaikovsky Piano Trio, which is one of the most intense, difficult and challenging works for violin, cello and piano.

Performing with the trio are YSU faculty member Michael Gelfand, cello; and guest artists Hristo Popov, violin, and Per Enflo, piano.
