4 NY residents jailed in Pa. rolling meth-lab case
ERIE, Pa. (AP) — Four southwestern New York residents are jailed in that state on charges they manufactured methamphetamine in Pennsylvania using a “one-pot” method in a car that was stopped in Erie earlier this month.
The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office says 42-year-old Eric Fuhs, 38-year-old Marie Kopta, 18-year-old Alexandria Gibbs, and 20-year-old John Gibbs were all arrested today in their hometown of Ripley, N.Y. Online court records don’t list attorneys for the suspects who have been jailed awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
Authorities say the mobile lab was discovered March 19 when Kopta’s vehicle was stopped in Erie.
