Basketball game to aid new Animal Welfare

BRISTOLVILLE

A charity basketball game, Racers vs. Veterinarians, will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. April 8 in the gym of Bristol High School, 1845 Greenville Rd. NW.

Proceeds of the benefit, dubbed “Fast Paws for a Cause,” will go to the new Animal Welfare League.

There will be a 50-50 raffle, half-court shot contest and a basket auction. Pizza, chili dogs, chips and pop will be for sale.

Donations of gently used blankets and pet dishes are requested. The admission fee is $5.
