“Secret Millionaire” (8 p.m., ABC): Internet tycoon John Ferber makes do with a welfare-level income for six days while living on Skid Row in Los Angeles. Some homeless people are in for a big, happy surprise.

“MILDRED PIERCE” (9 p.m., HBO): Joan Crawford, eat your heart out. Kate Winslet steps into the role that won Crawford her only Oscar and delivers a mesmerizing performance as the title character in this new miniseries version of the Depression-era novel by James M. Cain. The five-part production offers an intimate portrait of a fiercely independent woman who, after a divorce, struggles to carve out a new life for herself and her two daughters. Evan Rachel Wood, Guy Pearce and Melissa Leo also star.

“William & Kate: INSIDE THE ROYAL WEDDING” (10 P.M., TLC): Brace yourself for a mind-numbing onslaught of programs pegged to April’s royal wedding. For starters, there’s “William & Kate: Inside the Royal Wedding,” an hourlong special that promises a behind-the-scenes look at preparations for the big event.

Peace concert at Stambaugh

Stambaugh Chorus will host “Giving Voice to Peace,” a free concert with more than 300 local singers, at 4 p.m. April 10 — Proclamation of Peace Day in Youngstown — at Stambaugh Auditorium.

Joining the Stambaugh Chorus will be members of the Austintown Fitch High School Concert Choir, Beatitude House Children’s Choir, Dana Symphonic Choir, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Men’s Chorus, Stambaugh Youth Concert Band, The Youngstown Connection and the Youngstown State Gospel Choir.

Each chorus will perform.

The finale will consist of ”Deep Peace” by Bill Douglas and “United in Song by Paul Halley, and will include all singers under the direction of Dr. Hae Jong Lee.

Gary Sexton of WYSU-FM will serve as master of ceremonies.

In addition to the choral production, Judge Theresa Dellick of Mahoning County Juvenile Court will present awards to the winners of a regional art competition for high-school students.

Each participant created a work of art that expresses his or her perception of peace.

Admission is free.
