MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at eight locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance. Transportation is available for those 60 or older; call 330-884-2511 to set up. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, March 30: Breaded fish on a hamburger bun, baked potato with sour cream and margarine, peas, unsweetened pineapple, orange gelatin cup and milk.

Thursday, March 31: Barbecue chicken patty, sweet potatoes, broccoli cuts, grape juice, white bread with honey, orange cupcake or angel food cake, and milk.

Friday, April 1: Breaded fish on a bun, corn, green beans, unsweetened peaches, butter/tartar sauce, and milk.

Saturday, April 2: Chicken breast, tossed salad, coleslaw, tomato juice, dressing, bun, banana muffin, and milk.

Monday, April 4: Taco shell with meat and cheese, plum tomatoes, mixed vegetables, black beans and corn, fudge round and milk.

Tuesday, April 5: Barbecue meatballs, buttered noodles, brussels sprouts, mandarin orange, bread, honey, margarine, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.

Wednesday, March 30: Chicken fingers with barbecue sauce, potato spudster, broccoli, wheat bread with margarine, orange cupcake, angel food cake, grape juice, and milk.

Thursday, March 31: Macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, lima beans, white bread with margarine, fruit mix, and milk.

Friday, April 1: Hamburger patty on a bun with ketchup/mustard, cheesy mashed potatoes, baby carrots, mandarin oranges, and milk.

Monday, April 4: Porcupine meatballs with sauce, mashed potatoes, buttered cabbage, wheat bread with margarine, pineapple, and milk.

Tuesday, April 5: Steak burger with mushrooms, peas, mexicorn, Diamond Jim bun, applesauce, and milk.
