June wedding to unite Miss Bak and Mr. Yeager

The parents of Wendy Jean Bak, who is of Zanesville, Ohio, are announcing her engagement to Rickie Michael Yeager, also of Zanesville.

Miss Bak is the daughter of Ed Bak of Youngstown and Mary Bak of Austintown. Mr. Yeager is the son of Linda Yeager of Massillon, Ohio, and the late Rickie Yeager.

The couple will exchange vows at Our Lady of Peace Church in Columbus at a 2:30 p.m. June 4 ceremony in the presence of invited guests. Creekside Conference and event center in Gahanna will be the venue for the reception, also by invitation.

The bride-to-be graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. She works as a patient care associate for The James Cancer Hospital at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.

The prospective groom earned a master’s degree in city and regional planning and in geography. He is employed by the city of Parkersburg, W.Va., as a city planner.
