Celebration: Birthday party from 2:30 to 3:30 Thursday at Beeghly Oaks, Boardman, where she resides. The party will include music, family, friends and snacks.

Born: Mary Yanek on March 31, 1911, in Star Junction, Pa.

Parents: Anna and Felix Yanek.

Siblings: She was one of ten children.

Residence: Her family moved to Youngstown in 1919 when Mary was 8 years old.

Schooling: She was among the first graduating class of St. Matthias School in Youngstown.

Marriage: She married Andrew Zivchak on Oct. 2, 1937.

Children: They had one child, Marilyn, in 1946.

Church: She has been a member of St. Matthias Church for more than 90 years. She was actively involved with the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild, Altar & Rosary Society, Sacred Heart & Rosary Society and was an officer of the Slovak Catholic Sokols Wreath.

Activities: She enjoys reading the daily newspaper and playing bingo.
