Poland Relay sponsors two fundraisers

Join the Relay For Life of Poland team as it raises a glass to toast cancer survivors and their caregivers.

A wine tasting will be April 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at L’uva Bella Winery, 6597 Center Road (US 224).

The cost is $35 per person and includes a minimum of five wine selections, hors d’oeuvres and gourmet pizza.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Poland.

Tickets are available in advance at Hannah’s Closet, 47 W. McKinley Way in Poland, through April 6.

Another Relay For Life of Poland fundraiser is scheduled for that weekend.

Bowling to benefit the American Cancer Society will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. April 10 at Camelot Lanes, 628 Boardman-Canfield Road.

Relay For Life will be July 8 and 9 at Poland Seminary High School.

The theme nationwide of Relay For Life is “Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.”

The wine tasting and bowling party are occasions to celebrate the cancer survivors and caregivers in your life.

The money raised at both events goes to a great cause: ensuring a world with more survivors and more birthdays.
