Dr. Awad to wed Mr. Alexander Jr. in August rite

Dr. Mounir and Linda Awad of Canfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Marie Linda Awad of Pittsburgh, and Louis Alexander Jr., also of Pittsburgh, a son of Mrs. Norma Alexander of Youngstown and the late Dr. Louis Alexander Sr.

Dr. Awad graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in combined sciences. She received a doctor of medicine degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and is a resident physician in general surgery at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Alexander graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and earned a juris doctorate and master of business administration degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. He is employed as an attorney by the law firm of Blumling and Gusky, LLP, in Pittsburgh.

The couple will be married at St. Maron Church in Youngstown in August. Invitations will be issued for the wedding and for the evening reception at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
