Vice unit raids North Side home

Youngstown

One man was arrested after Youngstown police conducted a search warrant inside a North Side home.

The department’s vice unit raided 2131 Elm Street around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, according to police, but found nothing of consequence.

Four adults and numerous children were inside the house when police arrived.

Police arrested Kalvin Franklin, 41, of Verona Avenue in Youngstown, on two outstanding warrants — drug abuse marijuana and identity fraud.
