Mac Trailer hiring in Salem, Alliance

SALEM

Mac Trailer, a steel and aluminum trailer manufacturer with locations in Alliance and Salem, is increasing its staff.

The company will add at least 100 employees by June and at least 40 more in July, said Shawn Foor, director of human resources for Mac Trailer.

“We’re seeing a resurgence in the market, and we’re expanding to meet the market needs and the growth we see currently,” said general manager Les Smith.

Foor said the company is hiring mechanical and design engineers, welders, warehouse staff, production supervisors and administrative assistants.

The company will also be hiring more general labor employees in the next month, he said.
