Scholarship winner to sing at YMTA recital Sunday


YOUNGSTOWN

A highlight of the recital to be presented by students of Youngstown Music Teachers’ Association on Sunday in Butler North Recital Hall will be a performance by Neil Meloro, a tenor voice singer from Youngstown State University, the YMTA and YSU scholarship winner for 2011.

The recital will begin at 2:30 p.m. and will feature the following students: Mario Movar, Jessica Lee, Christine Fortine, Max Lee, Jack Swavel, Shelby Scott, Julia Cooper, Jack Kuczek, Maria Pupino, Jack Cross, Kevin Min, Bryson Stemock, Sara Sheffield, Nicole Slaven, Abigail Wakefield, C. J. Artman, Jennifer Stevens, Eva Laino, Mary Smrek and Kristi Yazvac.

Teachers represented by the students are: Rick Barber, Fanny DiDomenico, Elizabeth Masternick, Frank Tarantino, Corinne Morini, Carol Childers, Thomas Miller, Dolores Hansley, Sean Baran, Cynthia Evans, Kathryn Dick, Audrey Rhinehart, Diane Yazvac and Paul Rossi.

Rossi is serving as chairman for the recital. Rhinehart is the association president.
