Pecchia-Duncan wedding date is announced

Mara Pecchia of New Middletown and D. Douglas Duncan of Struthers are announcing their engagement and the date for their upcoming marriage.

The couple have chosen June 11 for their open wedding at St. Rose Church in Girard. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at the Operating Engineers Hall in Boardman.

Mario and Margaret Pecchia of Boardman are parents of the bride-elect. She received her cosmetology license from the Ohio Academy Paul Mitchell Partner School and is a self-employed stylist at Capello Hair Salon in Canfield.

The future groom is a son of Renee Weimer of New Middletown and Donald and Terry Duncan of Youngstown. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Youngstown State University and is a supervisor with Sam’s Club in Boardman.
