Parents announce Callahan-Wire wedding plans

The parents of Lauren Callahan of Boardman and Shawn Wire of Columbus are announcing the couple’s engagement and plans for their upcoming marriage.

Michael and Meg Callahan of Boardman are parents of the bride-elect, and parents of the future groom are Robert and Dana Wire of Youngstown.

The couple have chosen June 18 for their 1:30 p.m. open wedding at St. Charles Church in Boardman. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman.

A registered nurse in ICU at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, Miss Callahan graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Mr. Wire graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in marketing and is a pricing analyst in the steel division at Worthington Industries in Columbus.
