Tentative pact reached in Poland schools talks
Poland Schools Superintendent Robert Zorn said Wednesday that a tentative agreement has been reached on a new contract between the teachers union and the board of education.
Details of the deal won’t be made available until the contract is ratified by the board and the union.
The next scheduled board meeting is Monday night at the North Elementary library, 361 Johnston Place.
Zorn previously said the district was seeking a wage freeze.
A teachers’ union representative did not immediately respond to request for comment.
