Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are necessary. For takeout orders call 330-743-3175.

Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St., will serve a Lenten breakfast from 7 to 9:30 a.m. today in the fellowship hall. A freewill offering will be accepted.

THURSDAY

Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $6.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve meals of fried fish, chicken or shrimp from 3 to 7 p.m. each Friday. Each meal is $8 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free for those 5 and under. A fish sandwich meal is $5.50. For carryouts call (330) 654-5630. A band will entertain right after the fish fry, from 7 to 11 p.m.

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday or 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Advance sales only. Lunches will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 381 Robbins Ave., Niles, will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at Marian Hall. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children. Takeouts are available.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 after 6 p.m. Thursday or from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. St. Brendan Church will sponsor a fish dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Fridays during Lent (except April 22) at Maxwell Hall, 144 N. Schenley Ave., Youngstown. Meals are $8.50 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will bake Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at 330-788-0025 between 9 and 11:30 a.m. only. Pickup will be until 12:30 p.m. Price is $6 for Brier Hill pizza and $5 for white pizza.

St. Maron Church, 1555 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3 to 7 p.m. every Friday during Lent. The cost is $9.

St. Patrick Church and School will have a Lenten fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. each Friday through April 15 at the church hall, 367 N. Main St., Hubbard. Adult dinners are $8, and meals for children are $6. Also available will be shrimp dinners for $7 and pirogi dinners for $6. Carryouts will be accepted after 3:30 at 330-534-4219.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.

St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (formerly St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church), 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will sponsor fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. each Friday during Lent except Good Friday. The cost is $8.75 for adults, $8.50 for seniors, $4 for children 6 to 12 and free for those 5 and under. Takeout service will be from 3 to 7 p.m.
