Circus adds 8th show at Covelli

Staff report

YOUNGSTOWN

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus has added an eighth performance of its Fully Charged circus, which comes to Covelli Centre this weekend.

The additional show will be at 7 p.m. Monday

Tickets for all performances are available at the box office, all Ticketmaster locations, online at ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

Good seats are still available for all performances. Prices are: $12, $17, $35 and $70 (plus applicable fees).

Show Times are: 7 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; and 7 p.m. Monday.

Fully Charged includes Tabayara, an animal trainer whose ability to communicate with animals allows him to ride rearing stallions at a full gallop and orchestrate majestic four-ton Asian elephants in a symphony of dance.

Also performing will be the fearless Fernandez Brothers, who will demonstrate daring feats of athleticism on the Twin Turbines of Steel, including extreme jumps and twists inside the moving wheels.

Aerial acrobat Guillermo will attempt a 360-degree, flying-forward somersault, three stories in the air — a feat so difficult it has only been attempted by one other person in the 141-year history of Ringling Bros.

And The Human Fuse, Brian Miser, will rocket through the air from his self-made human crossbow, traveling 110 feet at 65 miles per hour.

All ticket holders are invited to the pre-show, one hour before each circus performance, where they can interact with some of the performers and animals.
