AUCTIONS

St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will have a basket auction April 10. Doors open at 10 a.m., and the auction begins at 12:30 p.m. Early bird prizes are drawn every 15 minutes, beginning at 12:30. Admission of $5 includes 20 tickets, a free bowl of haluski and a piece of cake. Extra tickets will be sold, and the kitchen will be open.

Struthers United Methodist Church, 33 Sexton St., Struthers, will have an auction Friday. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the auction will begin at 6:30. Door prizes will be awarded, and a light lunch will be available.

Youngstown Tri-Gold Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will have its fifth annual basket auction April 9 at St. Nicholas Hall, 764 5th St., Struthers. Doors open at 12:30 p.m., and drawings begin at 3. The cost for the event is $5 and includes a sheet of bidding tickets, a door prize entry and light refreshments. Proceeds go toward scholarships. CARD, BINGO PARTIES

Mother of Crucifix will sponsor a bingo and card party at 3 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church social hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown. Tickets will be $6 at the door.

St. James Altar and Rosary Society will sponsor a card and bingo party at 2:30 p.m. April 10 at the school auditorium, 2016 Arbor St. SE, Warren. There will be a 50-50 raffle, door and table prizes and lunch. The donation is $5 at the door.

St. Stephen of Hungary Church, 854 Wilson Ave., Youngstown, will be the setting for a bingo and card party to be sponsored by the Altar and Rosary Society at 2 p.m. Sunday in the social hall. The donation is $5 and includes a luncheon and door prizes. There will be a special raffle and a 50-50 drawing.

Sharpsville Elementary PTO will have a craft show and basket auction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 16 at the school, 100 Hittle Drive, Sharpsville, Pa. Admission is $1. Lunch and snacks will be available.

The staff of Sts. Mary and Joseph School will sponsor a Night at the Races on Saturday at St. Mary Social Hall, 120 Maple Drive, Newton Falls. Tickets are $15 and include dinner and beverages. Brookfield United Methodist Church 6951 Grove St., Brookfield, will have a rummage sale from 4 to 8 p.m. April 14, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 15, and 9 a.m. to noon April 16. Lunch will be available. Drop-off dates are noon April 10 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. April 11-13.

Cortland United Methodist Church, 155 N. High St., Cortland, will have a rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Friday will be $2-a-bag day. Items too large for a bag will be half-price.

UPMC Horizon Medical Equipment Recycling Program will host a bus trip to Mountaineer Casino, Chester, W.Va., on Saturday. The bus will depart from the Greenville , Pa., campus, 110 N. Main St., Greenville, Pa., at 9:30 a.m. and from the Shenango Valley campus, 2200 Memorial Drive, Farrell, Pa., at 10 a.m. Tickets cost $30 per person and include $25 in free play for a five-hour stay. United Local Community Education Department is sponsoring a bus trip to the Southern Tier of Ohio’s Amish Country on Saturday. Stops will include downtown Berlin, the new Walnut Creek Flea Market, a cheese/grocery store and dinner at an Amish-style restaurant. The bus will leave United Local High School, 8143 state Route 9, Hanoverton, at 7:45 a.m. and return at 4:30 p.m. The cost of the trip is $8 and does not include dinner.
