Packard women’s league accepting members

Membership sign-up for the Packard Electric Ladies Golf League is April 9 at 12:30 p.m. at Old Avalon Golf Course Clubhouse.

League play begins May 9 at Old Avalon and May 10 at Vienna Short Holes.

The short-hole division is for beginning golfers and experienced players who want to improve their short game.

The cost to join one division is $26 and just $28 to join both divisions.

Bring cash or a check made payable to: Packard Electric Ladies Golf League.

If you are unable to attend the sign-up, mail your phone number and a check made payable to Packard Electric Ladies Golf League by May 3 to Carol Calhoun, 1000 Janet Drive NE, Warren 44481.

Golfers do not have to be Delphi Packard Electric employees to join.

New members must establish a handicap prior to the start of league play.
