Carol Starre-Kmiecik of Lakewood will participate in the celebration of Women’s History Month by presenting a one-woman show at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the McKinley Memorial Library, 40 N. Main St.,

She will appear as Amelia Earhart during the free event.

Chili cook-off planned

ELLSWORTH

Ellsworth Fire Department is inviting the public to participate in the Myron Young Chili Cook-off from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 26 at Ellsworth Fire Station, 6034 S. Salem-Warren Road.

Those donating a crock pot of hot, ready-to-serve chili will be admitted free, and a prize will be awarded for the best chili.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. In addition to sampling bowls of chili and voting for a favorite, each will receive a hot dog and beverage. Additional tickets will be $1.
