ASSOCIATIONS

American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Youngstown Club, 201 E. Commerce St., Youngstown. In honor of International Women’s History Day, this will be a joint celebration with the League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown, UNA USA, Altrusa Club of Youngstown, Youngstown Federated Club, Churches United and YWCA. The speaker will be Tazim Jaffer, an international artist and anthropologist, who was born in Tanzania, East Africa. Reservations are required for the $25 sit-down dinner (vegetarian is available). Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1953 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Johnny’s, 7807 Market St., Boardman. Guests are welcome.

CLUBS

Retreads Motorcycle Club will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday for lunch at Denny’s on Route 224, Boardman. A business session will follow. The club is open to all bikers and co-riders over 40. Dues are $15 a person of $20 a couple. For more information call 330-788-7271.

Dublin Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, with Michelle Combis in charge. Dues will be collected, and the program is “Presidents.”

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Altar and Rosary Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday to pray the rosary followed by a meeting at the church, 618 Ohio Ave., McDonald.

St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

SERVICE CLUBS

Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St., Girard.

SINGLES

Parents Without Partners, Portage County Chapter 600, will have a ham dinner from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and dance from 7:30 to 11:30 April 2 at Kent VFW 3703 post home, 500 VFW Parkway, Kent. Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Charles Church Ministry Building, 7325 Westview Drive, Boardman. The building is handicap accessible. SUPPORT GROUPS

F.O.C.U.S. (Friends Offering Compassionate Understanding Support) will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Steamers for a light lunch. At 7 p.m. the support group will meet at the Cedar Room on the second floor of St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, 8401 Market St., Boardman. Park in outpatient lot.

Marijuana Anonymous, a 12-step recovery program for people addicted to the drug, meets every Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall, 2555 Rush Blvd., Youngstown.

Mended Hearts, a support group for heart survivors and their families, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Azalea room at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Boardman Campus. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Mahoning Valley, a support group for family and friends, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the D&E Counseling Center, 142 Javit Court, Austintown. Youngstown Area PFLAG will meet from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Stonewall Center, 1523 Poland Ave., Youngstown, for a regular support, education and advocacy meeting. All are welcome.
