No driver’s licenses

COLUMBUS (AP)

The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles offices will be unable to issue driver’s licenses on an upcoming Saturday, so motorists need to plan ahead.

BMV officials said in a statement Tuesday that licenses won’t be available March 26 at its 200-plus locations because of maintenance and upgrades scheduled on two national driver databases. Those systems are used to determine whether applicants are eligible to receive a regular or commercial license. Customers with licenses due to expire March 26 should renew ahead of time.
