Murder suspect says he’d probably kill again

NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire man who has admitted being part of the deadly knife and machete attack on a woman and her 11-year-old daughter says he might kill again if he’s ever released from prison.

Twenty-one-year-old Christopher Gribble says on the fifth day of his insanity trial that he knows he’s going to prison either way.

Gribble acknowledges he told a psychiatrist recently that he doubts he’ll ever be released from prison, even if the jury says he’s insane. He also says it’s possible he’d kill again if he did get out.

Gribble has admitted killing Kimberly Cates and trying to kill Jaimie Cates in their Mont Vernon home in October 2009. But he claims he is not guilty by reason of insanity.
