Historical society seeks nominations for annual Historic Preservation Awards

YOUNGSTOWN — The Historic Preservation Committee of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society is seeking nominations for its seventh annual Historic Preservation Awards program.

The awards honor those in the Valley who take an active role in preserving historic buildings, sites and districts.

Historic preservation projects in Trumbull and Mahoning counties are eligible for recognition in appropriate categories. The winners will be announced during Historic Preservation Month in May, and recognized by the members of the MVHS at the group’s annual meeting in June.
