WARREN, Pa.

A Youngstown couple has been jailed after state police in northwestern Pennsylvania say they led troopers on a high-speed chase after breaking into three seasonal camps.

Online court records don’t list attorneys for 49-year-old Timothy Kolat or 50-year-old Charlene Maple. State police in Warren say the couple led police on a chase that exceeded 100 mph Saturday night.

Police have charged the couple with theft and criminal trespass and say they stole televisions, guns and other items from three camps in Limestone Township earlier in the day.

The couple were arrested after Kolat crashed the truck, ending the chase. Police say most of the stolen items were recovered from a nearby residence. They remained in the Warren County Jail late Monday. Kolat was featured as the fugitive of the week by the FBI/Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes Task Force in Sunday’s Vindicator.
