The driver of a tractor-trailer was seriously injured after he wrecked his truck at 1:27 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 80, Pennsylvania State Police said.

William Skylar Davis, 31, of Findlay, Ohio, was westbound when he went over a guard rail and down an embankment just over the state line in Mercer County.

The truck hit several trees and overturned. Davis was taken by helicopter to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, which would not release information on his condition Tuesday.

A passenger in the truck was not hurt.
