No Ohio driver licenses on last Saturday this month
COLUMBUS (AP) — The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles says its offices will be unable to issue driver licenses on an upcoming Saturday, so motorists need to plan ahead.
BMV officials said in a statement today that licenses won’t be available on March 26 at the agency’s more than 200 locations because of maintenance and upgrades scheduled on two national driver databases.
Those systems are used to determine whether applicants are eligible to receive an Ohio regular or commercial driver license.
The BMV says customers with licenses due to expire on March 26 should renew ahead of time.
