Railroad retirees rep available for questions Thursday

A representative of the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board will be in Youngstown on Thursdayto answer questions about retirement, survivor, Medicare and unemployment or sickness benefits.

Call ahead to schedule an appointment between 9 a.m. and noon at the Social Security Office at 354 E. Federal St., at 800-772-1213.

The RRB is an independent agency within the federal government whose primary function is to administer comprehensive retirement-survivor and unemployment-sickness benefit programs for the nation’s railroad workers and their families under the Railroad Retirement and Railroad Unemployment Insurance Acts.
