Man pistol-whipped by intruders on North Side

YOUNGSTOWN

A man was pistol-whipped in his home in the 200 block of Gypsy Lane by two men around 9:15 a.m. Thursday.

The man said he saw a car with two men inside pull into the owner’s driveway.

The men stayed in the driveway briefly and then left.

A short time later, he and his girlfriend were asleep when they heard footsteps leading to his second-story recording studio.

The man said both men hit him on the back of his head, neck and the side of his head with guns.

The man was to make an inventory of any missing items and contact police.
