Youngstown declares snow emergency


Youngstown has declared a snow emergency effective 6 p.m. today. The emergency will remain in effect until further notice.

During a snow emergency, parking is prohibited in the city on all streets except those with a width of no more than 25 feet.

Any vehicle parked in violation of the snow emergency will be towed at the owner’s expense.

The city declares a snow emergency when there is at least 4 inches of accumulated snow.
