Ethics in fundraising program planned at Youngstown Club
YOUNGSTOWN
The Mahoning/Shenango Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Planned Giving Council will host a program and luncheon titled “Ethical Issues in Professional Fundraising” on March 24 at the Youngstown Club, 201 E. Commerce St.
The educational program will be presented by Dr. Gabriel Palmer-Fernandez, who is director of the Dr. James Dale Ethics Center and a professor in the department of philosophy and religious studies at Youngstown State University.
Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m. Lunch is at noon, followed by the program from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Staff and volunteers involved in fundraising for nonprofit organizations are encouraged to attend. The cost is $20 for AFP/PGC members, $35 for not-yet-members and $10 for full-time students.
