Parking ban in Struthers
STRUTHERS — In anticipation of a snow storm headed to the Mahoning Valley, the city has put a parking ban in effect from 6 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Saturday.
Parking on city streets will be disallowed so city crews can more easily clear away the snow.
The National Weather Service expects wet snow to begin falling on the region late today and possibly carry into Friday afternoon. The forecasters say up to a foot of snow could accumulate, with the heaviest expected near and north of Interstate 76, which runs from the Akron area east to Youngstown and the Pennsylvania line.
