Skating event this weekend to raise funds for Akron Children's Hospital

BOARDMAN — Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley will receive $1 from each regular-priced admission during “Skate for the Kids” events at the Ice Zone, 360 McClurg Road, on Saturday and March 19.

The “Skate for the Kids” events will take place during the public ice-skating sessions from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., and 7 to 11 p.m. both days of the event.

JoAnn Stock, director of development for Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley said, “We really appreciate the support of the Ice Zone. Every dollar raised will help local children served by the programs and services of Akron Children’s.”
