Ohio seeks return of murder suspect
BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio (AP) — Ohio officials have sent paperwork seeking the return from West Virginia of a man charged with killing a 26-year-old woman in western Ohio.
Authorities also want to question 37-year-old Samuel Littleton II in the disappearances of a couple in their 80s from the same area. Richard Russell was found dead Feb. 26 in Tennessee. His wife Gladis is still missing.
Littleton was arrested last month in Princeton, West Va., where authorities found the Russells’ car. He is charged with killing his girlfriend’s daughter, Tiffany Brown. Her body was found in his basement in Bellefontaine.
The Logan County sheriff’s office tells the Dayton Daily News that Gov. John Kasich has signed documents needed for Littleton’s return. They’re not sure how long the process will take.
